Do I need to be very fit for this tour?
Not at all. The hikes are moderate and suitable for anyone with a basic fitness level. If you can walk 10–12 km over rolling hills at a relaxed pace, you’ll be fine.
What’s the accommodation like?
You’ll stay in carefully selected 4-star hotels in Tbilisi and Stepantsminda. They combine modern comfort with authentic Georgian charm.
Is food included?
Yes. Two lunches and two dinners are included. Breakfasts are included at the hotels. Other meals can be purchased at local restaurants or arranged by your guide on request.
Are the hikes guided?
Absolutely. Each hike is led by a professional, English-speaking mountain guide who is certified, experienced, and familiar with the local trails and safety protocols.
How difficult are the hikes?
They are moderate. Expect 2–5 hours of hiking per day, with gradual ascents and descents. The highest point is around 2,575 meters.
Can this trip be private?
Yes, this is primarily a private tour. We can also arrange small-group departures if you’d like to join other travelers.
What if the weather is bad?
We always prioritize safety. The itinerary may be adjusted for weather conditions, and alternative activities will be suggested if hiking is not possible on a given day.
Is transportation included?
Yes. All ground transportation, including airport transfers, city transfers, and 4WD vehicles for mountain routes, is included in the price.
Do I need to bring special equipment?
You only need basic hiking gear: comfortable shoes, a daypack, water bottle, and layers for changing weather. Trekking poles are optional.
Is travel insurance required?
It’s not included but highly recommended to cover potential trip interruptions, medical emergencies, or lost luggage.
